Why You Need a Mentor

Maybe you are new to 1ViZN or maybe you have been with 1ViZN for a few years. Are you where you want to be with your health? Are you where you want to be with your business? Are you taking advantage of the opportunity that 1ViZN offers?

A mentor is like a coach, someone that helps to guide and direct and support the team as they learn how to play and win. Are you working with a mentor to help you to fully utilize and experience the 1ViZN opportunity?

We know it can be intimidating to ask for help, but with 1ViZN we work as one team, with one focus, and one vision. Part of our vision is to ensure that no distributor is left behind. Our leaders and Distributors fully believe in supporting and helping one another. Don’t be afraid to ask someone for help because you deserve to have a better quality of life. So how do you know who to ask to be your mentor?

Be Yourself

Being yourself is important. You have unique skills and talents that bring new things to the table, a new perspective, and new ideas. When you are yourself you find others who are similar to you, or different than you, but you attract the kind of people you want to be around. If you are positive and uplifting you will find others who are positive and uplifting. Find a mentor that you can be yourself with so that you can use your strengths to build your business, and to strengthen your weaknesses.

Work with a Mentor That Motivates You

A coach teaches, guides, and directs a team. A coach knows when to push the team, when to calm the team down, and when to change directions to win the game. When you work with a mentor that motivates you to take action and feel confident in your actions, you are probably working with the right mentor. You may still need to motivate yourself but a mentor will add to the excitement and motivation, providing support and encouragement to get back up when you might feel like sitting down.

Set Good Goals

Work with a mentor that knows how to help you set SMART goals. Setting goals is huge in helping you to achieve and live your dreams. Do you want to reach S3 in the first 30 days? Do you want to Jeep it! Qualify? Do you want to earn a certain amount of money? Do you want to get your debt paid off? Do you want to be able to work at home so you can be with your kids more?

Whatever your goals are, short and long term, work with a mentor that helps you see what the possibilities are and what goals will help you to reach where you want to be in the long run.

Be Accountable

Having accountability is something that helps you to stay motivated. Be on time, keep your commitments, and take action. Be accountable to your goals and to your mentor.

If you are unable to reach a goal or keep a commitment, then review the situation. Did you set a goal that was too hard? Did you not have the information you needed to take action? Did you feel scared to take action? Work with your mentor and be honest with them so they can help you to continue to get up and keep going as you live and learn along the way.

Trust Your Mentor

Find a mentor you can trust. Trust means you support them, and also their experience and knowledge. When you work with someone you trust, you know they have your best interest in mind. You trust that they know what they are doing and that they can help you be successful as they are successful in the process of duplication. Working with someone you trust gives you the ability to learn and grow into the kind of mentor they are. With time, and someone you trust, you can become a mentor for those around you, the new people on your team, and new Distributors in 1ViZN. You can become who you want to become with a mentor you trust.

Overall, having a mentor opens the doors of opportunity to get you to where you want to be with 1ViZN. As you work with a mentor be sure to be yourself, make sure they motivate you and you trust them, set good goals, and be accountable.
